The library at Western is unique. It is a three story facility. We have 16 computers on the main floor for student use. Upstairs is a computer lab where you may come with a teacher to work on a research project.
The upper level of the library is home to a very large library collection, look around for specialized book cases.....girls - check out the "Hot Pink" bookcase on the upper level that contains books, many handpicked by Mrs. Riche, that she fondly calls the "Chick" bookcase. You will also find brand new - just released books on the main level as well as as special book case devoted to vampire romance!
The library is opened to you before school for you to finish your homework, use turnitin.com or just stay warm and read before school starts. I take my lunch 5th period so that the library can be open at lunch for the students. Be sure that you have your ID, or you won't be able to use a computer at any time during the day. The library is also opened after school for nearly an hour for you to get a start on your homework, do some computer work, or check out a book to read for the weekend.
