If you find an abandoned textbook in your room, you can look up who it belongs to using the Check In by ID screen.  Scan or type in the number of the textbook and you can see who the book is checked out to.  If the student is in your class, return to the student.  If the student is not in your class check in the book and return it to the Department's Chair.
