If you are using the IRIS Pen Scanner. The software must be installed first. If you need help installing the IRIS Pen Scanner, please contact Heather Gruenthal.
If the IRIS logo is on your desktop, the scanner is ready to use
Plug the scanner into your USB port
launch the IRIS application by double clicking on the icon
If the computer does not detect the scanner right away, click on retry
You will know the IRIS Pen is working if the red light comes on when pressing the wheel on the top of the scanner
Place the scanner in fron of the barcode with the three white lines lined up where you want the scanner to read.
Be sure to scan the barcode, not the numbers below
