It is not necessary to have a scanner to circulate textbooks, you can type in the numbers from the book. Make sure you type in all characters including letters, zeroes, and spaces. 

 

Each department was issued one or more IRIS wand scanners.  Coordinate with your department to share the scanners.

Textbooks can be issued without using a scanner.   Just type in the number that appears on the barcode.

Some of the older barcodes may have extra spaces or zeroes that do not appear on the barcode.  You can double check how the barcodes are reading by checking the title record in the Zangle Inventory Setup Module.
